SFO Mini-DO luncheon October 12, 2013

Frequent Flyer Giving is pleased to announce the 2013 SFO Mini-DO, scheduled for Saturday, October 12, 2013. This will be the last and LARGEST of our events this year and you won't want to miss it.

The event will be held at The Slanted Door, a delicious fusion restaurant within the Ferry Building, Embarcadero District, in downtown San Francisco. The building is a historical landmark right on the San Francisco Bay, and if we get enough people signed up quickly enough, we will be seated outside on the gorgeous patio overlooking the water.

We will be serving a family style feast with three appetizers, three entrees, and two vegetable dishes. Included in the price will be all non-alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic beverages are, of course, available. The meal will start promptly at noon.

There will be special guests in attendance, along with a charity raffle/auction at the end with unique onboard and branded items!

Each attendee will receive a free ticket to the United Airlines Family Day event on Sunday, October 13, an event at the SFO Maintenance Center that is generally reserved for employees and a limited number of invited guests. The program for that event is still being finalized, but for now, assume that it will be similar to prior years (aircraft on display, tours, etc.).

In addition, each attendee will, at the time of registration, be able to request one additional ticket for a family member via the mini-DO payment website. Please note that this will NOT be the only way to attend Family Day. United Airlines will, as always, provide a separate opportunity for customers (including FT/MP) to attend the SFO Family Day on a complimentary basis, in a similar format/ticket allocation and with a comparable number of spaces to what has been provided in the past.

In addition to some extremely special guests during the lunch, we’re also exploring additional activities for the mini-DO attendees over the course of the weekend. Aside from that, this is the same weekend as the annual Fleet Week event held October 10-14, which we’re told is another fun event you might be interested in attending. We also suggest that everyone takes a chance to wander around the interesting shops in the Ferry Building before or after the mini-DO.

Cost and Payment:
The cost is $120 per person, which covers both the cost of the venue and a $20 donation to FFG/United WeCare. We anticipate being able to accommodate about fifty people at the venue. Your registration is NOT confirmed until payment is received. All payments must be received by September 4, 2013 at 9:00pm PST.

The $120 per person charge for the event is payable in advance.
