United inflight training - Houston, TX May 20, 2017

FFG is headed to Houston to the United Airlines inflight training center on May 20, 2017.

We will hear about United's training and then experience it for ourselves. Events begin at the United Inflight Training Center, 4375 Wright Rd., Houston, Texas 77032. We will then proceed to lunch a short distance from the airport.
Upon request, shuttles will be provided from the Houston North Marriot and Hilton Houston North hotels. We hope to have transportation arranged from the IAH Marriott as well. Details will be announced soon.

The schedule of events is as follows:

1000–1030Arrive at Inflight Training Center.
1030–1100Meet & Greet, Tour Training Facility.
1100–1130“Inflate vest, board Life Raft and prepare for ditching”
1130-1200Observe Instructors open doors and windows, shout emergency commands. Guest will be able to get hands on time with select door and window trainers
1200-1230After watching the emergency commands, our guests will participate in a real ‘mock’ evacuation. With an opportunity to slide down an emergency slide (optional)
1230-1300Beverage cart set up, First Class Seat photo Op and more
1330-1630Lunch and charity auction near IAH

IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION:

  • The event is limited to 25 participants.
  • The cost for entry is $100 per person. This includes a $50 donation to FFG, which will pass 100% of this amount to United WeCare.

    FFG is a 501(c)(3) organization. The donation portion of the event cost is tax-deductible to US persons.

    FFG will give 100% of the donations received to United WeCare.
